Classic space shooter formula: down come the little ASCII-art flying saucers, and up go your bullets. Each alien you nail snags you a point. If forty get past you, you die and are rewarded with a pretty ANSI picture saying "LOOSER [sic]".

Incidentally, the PC beeper sound effects are (relatively) high-quality. Every time you kill an alien, it makes a little crackling/popping/clicking noise that's surprisingly satisfying.

Playing one-handed while not looking at the screen and typing on IRC on another computer, I racked up 550 points. Boffo game; can't wait for Invaded ]i[.
