You are a fuzzball. You like to enter castles. These castles have tile floors that disappear if you step on them too much. Keys, doors, and food may be found hidden under the tiles. The castle is also filled with monsters. Your objective: collect the keys to go through doors, but don't die in the process.
Back in 1990 Ian Currie did not know that the presence of cute characters is only justified by a cute story explaining why they are there. FFF leaves us hanging. Who are these fuzzballs? Why are they funky to the point of qualifying as the 'freaking' variety? Why is there no soundtrack written by George Clinton of Parliament Funkadelic? And as long as we're on the topic of sound, why is the only sound effect a "kham-kham-kham" at the title screen?
Fortunately, Mr. Currie has given up creating impossibly frustrating puzzle games and has since focused on creating the greatest strategy game currently available on the commercial market. In the interest of sucking up to the creator of my favorite non-shareware game, my official endorsement of Freakin' Funky Fuzzballs is "best game ever."
