For those of you scarred by Superfly, you don't have to be fearful of this game. The author has made a great little puzzle game, outdoing his previous opus.
You are given a coded version of an interesting quote, and you have to decipher it through the process of elimination. For instance, if you see a word that is only one letter, then the letter must stand for 'I' or 'A'. Now that you have one letter, the smaller words are more easily deciphered. When you get those right, you can move on to big words.
The game is equipped with a lot of extra features, including hints to tell you if you got a letter right, as well as the ability to create you own quote files so you can stump any friends you may have.
In addition to the challenging puzzles, the quotes themselves are rather amusing and/or thought-provoking, depending on your level of intellect.
This is classic Nels Anderson: like Shooting Gallery, the graphics aren't great but the game is plenty fun.

I was a 10-year-old cryptogram addict.
I read dozens of books on cryptography. I knew the difference between a code and a cipher. I could decipher any message sent during World War II. I could do rot13 in my head. I kept a huge notebook full of cryptography stuff: frequency charts for three languages, lists of common words of three letters or fewer, words fitting various common patterns, even cryptograms I wrote for myself in hopes that I would forget the message later (in retrospect, using my favorite passages from my favorite books was not such a bright plan).
Cipher is hardly an original game, but it sure as hell brings me back.
So what if I'm a dork?
