Oh no! A ninja is trying to kill me! First, I will move closer to him. That seems logical. But now I have to press F2 to switch to PUNCH MODE before I can punch him. Now my movement keys have been converted to punching keys. Now, I wish to move away from the ninja before he gets up. Let's press F1 to go to MOVE MODE and go away. Now I wish to jumpkick, so I must jump while in MOVE MODE then switch to KICK MODE (F3) and then hope I hit the ninja.
Aside from the horrendous gameplay, it also runs at warp speed on a Pentium. So fast, in fact, that I was unable to read the title screen to find out who made the game. There was also no publishing info in the readme.
But don't take my word for it. Apparently, the game has a fan base among the mentally ill.

This game not only ran so fast on my computer that I was unable to see the title, it ran so fast, in fact, that I actually could not play the game. Oddly, this has never happened to any other ancient shareware game that I have run on my 1.5 gigahertz pentium.I will now attempt to give you some sort of inkling of the terror to which this game subjected me.
(Scene: Black background. White outline of a dojo. Ninja with tied-back hair stands on left side of the screen. Ninja in all purple with traditional ninja-dress(?) stands to the right.)
TBHN(Tied-back hair ninja): (Jumps in the air for no reason. I have touched no controls.) BABLABALBAJA!!!!! (<- This is meant to represent the hideous noise made by my state-of-the-art 'sperkers' as they were labeled)
APN(All-purple ninja): BLDK!(Dies. Also for no reason. The keyboard has not yet been touched.)
TBHN: ABLADDDAAAK-KK-KKKKK!!!!!(I attempt to turn the hideous sound down frantically as another APN appears. My lovely PC speakers take over. By the way, I was just sort of assuming that these sounds were some attempt at dialog. Semaphore would have been less painful.)
APN: KK-ABLADAKKKK!!!!(Goes into a stupid looking defense-stance.)
TBHN:(Slides along the ground for no conceivable reason. My ears were beggining to hurt, and I was worried that if it did not stop, they would bleed.) TCCCHHHHHKKKKBLDK!
APN: TBTBTBTBKKK!!!!(Dies. I am now frantically trying to stop the madness as yet another APN appears and begins to spurt inconcievably evil syllables in a damnable, long-dead tongue, a tongue now known only by anguished PC speakers. Several more APN's die without me switching modes or pushing buttons at all. The hellish noise swirls around me and then. . . blessedly. . . the terrible, unimaginable madness draws to a halt as I suddenly return to Windows. My PC speakers halt thier mad spurting.) I collapse over my keyboard in relief, the terrible noises still hammering through my skull.)
So this should give you some idea. Do NOT, by any means, download this terrible, terrible device of human pain and suffering. All that I can do to rationalize what happened, in hindsight, after the weeping and wailing, is to say this. My opinion of this game is that it was made to punish us by some long-dead culture. Where they came from I cannot say, but do not subject your PC speakers to this, or indeed yourself. I should probably go and get an exorcism. Kevin, I blame you as the resident corporate executive for the presence of this poison. Is it a control tool to recruit underlings!? Darius, fear not, I lay no blame upon you. I thought you were a corporate executive with a heart, Kevin, but to subject a fellow living creature to this!? Frailty, Thy name is Kevin!
Why BLDK?
I thought BLDK! was a very fine post with great humorousquality. I laughed so hard I puked. Twice. So why have I
