What an amazingly solid puzzle game. This is the story of Yeet and Boik, two heroes who are, in appearance, an unholy union of 7-Up's "Cool Spot" and Doritos snack chips ( + , if you were wondering). It seems that an adorable little bunny has stolen all the villians from our favorite video games. Now the heroes of those games are out of a job, and it's up to our intrepid adventurers to restore the villians to their rightful places. Well, the story is a bit more complicated, involving multiple universes, the balance of Good and Evil, et cetera, but I will not elaborate further. Suffice to say that the story is amazingly rich for a puzzle title. And don't be fooled by the cute exterior, either. The humor is on an adult level, and I was laughing out loud at several points in the game. Take, for instance, the line drawn "Vector Man" or the level which looks like obfuscated Apple BASIC code.

The graphics and sound are both high quality. The tilesets used add a unique and often hilarious character to each of the dozens of levels. The music is somewhat annoying at times but conveys an overall pleasant feeling.

The game is graced by a slick platform-game interface, and ran smoothly on my Pentium running Windows 95. The puzzles themselves are cleverly done: you are given a series of blocks and essentially have to throw them towards the matching ones. If you happen to do this in certain predefined patterns, you free a monster for a bonus. The difficulty of these puzzles ranges from absurdly easy to fiendishly frustrating (bow before my alliteratory prowess!).

To top it all off, the game even has a blood mode. Run the game with the command "bopsw.exe blood". Go on, try it.

Anyhow, this is certainly not your standard Apogee fare. In fact, it's far superior.
